It scans the page's HTML for outbound links and checks each one against a list of known social platform domains — Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and GitHub. Only genuine profile links count; generic share buttons or embed widgets pointing at those same domains are filtered out so they don't produce a false positive.
